Nothing gives me more satisfaction than cleaning and organizing. But as I stood there surrounded by piles of clothes and memories, I realized: this isn’t just about my closet. It’s about my life.

Back in 2023, I wrote a blog called “Edit Your Life – Create a Masterpiece.” The idea came from Christine Koh’s Edit Your Life podcast and my love of The Home Edit show on Netflix. Back then, I talked about taking stock of every part of your life — home, work, relationships, commitments — and doing some deep, sometimes ruthless, edits.

A year later, that message still rings true. But I’ve learned that editing your life isn’t a one-time project. It’s a rhythm — a way to keep aligning who you are with who you’re becoming.

We often think of editing as cutting things out, but real edits are choices — small, intentional shifts that create space for what truly matters. Sometimes the edit is a cluttered closet. Sometimes it’s a mindset, a routine, or even an expectation we’ve outgrown.

So this week, I invite you to pause and reflect: What part of your life could use a little editing? What would it look like to make space for what’s next?

Because your life is your masterpiece — and every thoughtful edit brings you closer to living it with clarity, purpose, and joy.

This weekend, I spent hours cleaning out my closet — refolding, rearranging, and letting go.
