As I sip my Monday morning coffee, I\u2019m reflecting on something we often underestimate in the business world: the power of stepping away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember62\">There\u2019s a saying that <em>all work and no play makes a person resentful, unproductive, and unmotivated<\/em>\u2014and I\u2019ve come to realize how true that is. In our constant pursuit of growth, deadlines, and results, we often forget that rest isn\u2019t a reward for finishing work; it\u2019s a requirement for doing good work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember63\">This past weekend, I was reminded of that in the best possible way. We attended a destination wedding and intentionally used that time to unplug completely. Between wedding events, we rested, reflected, and simply <em>were present<\/em>. It was a beautiful celebration in an amazing setting for an adorable couple\u2014and for me personally, it became an unexpected reset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember64\">What stood out most was this realization: we hadn\u2019t truly taken a break in over a year. We had traveled individually for work, but not together as a couple. This pause gave me space to reconnect\u2014not just with my partner, but with myself. And when I returned, I noticed something subtle but powerful: clarity, renewed energy, and a fresh perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember65\">Breaks don\u2019t slow us down. They recalibrate us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ember66\">Why Taking Breaks Is Essential (Not Optional)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember67\"><strong>1.
